Planet of the Apes

Chronological Order (Story-Driven Experience):

If you’d prefer to follow the storyline as it progresses in the world of the Apes, this order follows the timeline of events:

  1. Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011)
    • Starts with the origin of intelligent apes.
  2. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014)
    • Chronicles the early conflict between humans and apes.
  3. War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)
    • Depicts the climactic war between the two species.
  4. Kingdom of Planet of the Apes (2024)
    • This would follow directly after the events of “War” as the continuation of the reboot trilogy.
  5. Planet of the Apes (1968)
    • Set far in the future where apes rule the Earth.
  6. Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970)
    • Continues from the 1968 film, expanding the world.
  7. Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971)
    • Apes travel back in time to modern-day Earth.
  8. Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972)
    • Shows the beginning of the ape revolution on Earth.
  9. Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973)
    • The final conflict between humans and apes for Earth’s future.
  10. There was also a “Planet of the Apes” animated TV series called “Return to the Planet of the Apes” that aired in 1975.
    • It’s part of the extended “Planet of the Apes” franchise, and while it isn’t as well-known as the movies, it adds an interesting layer to the universe.
  11. Planet of the Apes (2001)
    • As this is a standalone reboot, you can watch it last as a separate experience.
